Mike Ehrmantraut from “Breaking Bad”/”Better Call Saul”

I have long been a fan of Jonathan Banks’ Mike Ehrmantraut  from “Breaking Bad” – he’s one of the most badass characters I’ve seen on TV (let’s ignore the fact that he wound up at the bottom of a vat of hydroflouric acid – his dying retort to Walter White still ranks as one of the best on a show).

So I’m positively giddy that the clock will be rewound and he will be back on the spin-off “Better Call Saul.” It’s going to be fascinating to see him track down the man who becomes Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk really opened my eyes with his nuanced performance on “Fargo”).

To celebrate my happiness and also kind of try to pass the time until “Better Call Saul” and a host of other shows either premiere or kick off another season, I’ll be doing a series of drawings of people from those various shows.

Here’s Banks/Ehrmantraut:

Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, the former policeman who became a 'cleaner' for organized crime. (Drawn from a screen cap from an episode of the show)

Looks good dude! Yeah great performance by him for sure, I still remember him being the “henchman” in Beverly Hills Cop.
